Michael F Downes

Michael is a graduate of UCC, Cork where he lives and paints.
After many years in commercial life he changed direction to pursue a career in painting.

His landscapes are colourful and textured, subtly capturing the mood of the Irish landscape.

His work can be found in private and public collections throughout Ireland.

Michael is a board member of the Crawford Gallery in Cork.
